Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. John 14:27.

Welcome

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Peace Lutheran Church online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.

Our Beliefs

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

Our congregation gathers in worship to receive God's gifts in his Word and Sacraments.

A Prayer For The Time

Peace continues to serve members of our church and community virtually and by appointment. You may find recent sermons under the Sermons tab above.

Prayer: Sovereign and gracious Lord, we bow low before you in this time of global and national calamity. We confess that as people of the earth we have deserved your chastening judgments. Yet we also trust Your promises that, even as You chasten and discipline, Your purposes are loving and good. Be present with Your strong comfort among those suffering from this virus and those who care for them. Guide our leaders to make wise decisions. In Your mercy make shattered lives whole again. Use this difficult time of tragedy and testing to make us as a nation and world more deeply aware of our total dependence on You. Give us courage to face whatever the future holds, knowing that it – and we – are in your gracious nail-pierced hands. We confidently ask this in the name of Jesus our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Depravity

John 3:19-21

19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
