Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. John 14:27.

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Peace Lutheran Church online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.

Our Beliefs

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

Our congregation gathers in worship to receive God's gifts in his Word and Sacraments.

Peace Memo Covid-19 Update 10/16/20

Hello fellow members of Peace,

Just a quick update about our governor's most recent press releases. Authorities have tweaked the health recommendations concerning closing times for alcohol-serving establishments, hotel occupancy limits, travel and quarantine rules, as well as mass gatherings.

In keeping with these and other recommended occupancy levels, etc., we as a house of worship continue meeting on Sundays at 9:30am for public worship and the Lord's Supper (on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month). Family Bible Hour follows at 10:45am. If you would like Holy Communion at another time, please make arrangements with Pastor. The Word and Sacraments are readily available to our members.

As always, we take reasonable precautions at Peace and presume that you will make your own risk assessments based on your current health, health history, etc.

We may all proceed in the confidence of knowing that all things are in our Lord's all-powerful, merciful and nail-pierced hands.

In Him,
+ Pastor +

A Prayer For The Time

Peace continues to serve members of our church and community virtually and by appointment. You may find recent sermons under the Sermons tab above.

Prayer: Sovereign and gracious Lord, we bow low before you in this time of global and national calamity. We confess that as people of the earth we have deserved your chastening judgments. Yet we also trust Your promises that, even as You chasten and discipline, Your purposes are loving and good. Be present with Your strong comfort among those suffering from this virus and those who care for them. Guide our leaders to make wise decisions. In Your mercy make shattered lives whole again. Use this difficult time of tragedy and testing to make us as a nation and world more deeply aware of our total dependence on You. Give us courage to face whatever the future holds, knowing that it – and we – are in your gracious nail-pierced hands. We confidently ask this in the name of Jesus our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Psalm 100

1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2     Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.
